Chateau de la Madeleine( built around 1000) offers a splendid view over Vallee de Chevreuse- open in the afternoon!
Promenade des petits ponts is a road across a channel, with old houses and bridges decorated with flowers, very pitoresque.

There is nothing more peaceful and inspiring in the world for me than a place between Mediteraneean Sea and the mountains. We found this little corner of paradise in French Catalunya, near Perpignan. Far less known than Spanish Catalunya, Costa Brava or Barcelona, the former Spanish territories belong to France only since 1659, thus explaining the specificity of this part of  Langedoc-Rousillon. Tenerife

Trying to escape from the cold and rainy Paris in November, we were searching a place reacheable by plane and not very far, as we had only one week for this escapade. And like previous years, we have special occasions to celebrate- the anniversaries of our son and my husband! Canaries aren’t completely new for us, as we have visited Fuerteventura in 2015, but we could not even dream of such an extraordinary climate and landscapes as in Tenerife. Practically, the temperatures vary so little during the year, allowing to enjoy a 22degreee in water and 24-25 degree on air, at the beginning of November😀 We actually used sun screen protection! Tenerife is the biggest of  the seven Canary islands, which are Spanish territories on the west coast of Africa, only 100 km away from Morocco, in the Atlantic ocean.They are the southest European teritory. Lichtenstein

We were thinking of a summer holiday with warm temperature but not too hot, and definitely water, a sort of replacement for the sea...so we came with the idea of a round trip to Italian lakes, Como and Maggiore. We decided to have a stop in Vaduz, to see one of the smallest countries in the world-Lichtenstein, a kingdom ruled by the Prince Hans Adam II, settled between Austria and Switzerland and sharing German language with its much bigger neighbours. The trip from Paris to Vaduz was quite difficult as it was raining most of the time, but we enjoyed stunning views of the Alps.   Lichtenstein is mainly mountaneous , with moderate temperature-perfect for bike rides, mountain trips and ski during the winter.   Vaduz, the capital, is a little town with modern architecture and even a film festival running while we were there.   On the top of the mountain, with gorgeous views over the city and the valley, the medieval Vaduz castle can be visited only outside as it ...
